Welcome to the Lead-User Panel (Industry Review)
This tool consists of an expert panel of leading home builders and other industry
professionals known to be innovators who, subject to availability,
agree to provide reviews of new building technologies upon request. For a maintenance
fee, panelists will provide feedback to qualified manufacturers/innovators who submit
applications, which clearly attempt to describe how the technology/product:
- is new-to-the-market OR reduce costs of a current product while maintaining equal
or higher quality
- fits into at least one of the check-list housing product categories from a provided
menu
- fills an unmet need for a specific market segment at a affordable price
- can be sold to the specific market segment through existing distribution channels
- has addressed codes, legal standards, and patent conflicts
